Seizing the opportunity.
When manufacturers went lean about 15 years ago, Steinwall saw the opportunity to assist them. Nobody wanted to store parts inventory, but they wanted it in the supply stream somewhere so they could get at it fast. In response, we added to our warehousing capacity. Steinwall has more than 150,000 square feet at two separate locations to warehouse inventory for our customers.
Inventory advantage.
We offer a competitive advantage by allowing customers to warehouse a year’s worth of inventory to limit the setups of their tool, minimizing delivery risk and reducing cost. Sometimes it’s better to provide JIT delivery by warehousing long runs of a part rather than doing short runs and frequent tool changes. By managing inventories of parts for customers, Steinwall can assure customers that there will always be a certain amount of inventory on hand for JIT delivery.
Our performance.
Two is better than one
We have 5 loading docks at our Coon Rapids manufacturing facility and 40 loading docks at our new warehouse less than a mile away. Both of our locations play a critical part in our North American distribution services.
