Experience: Since joining Steinwall in 2013 Tom has taken on numerous different roles: account management, production scheduling, purchasing and procurement, business analytics, and overall strategic decision making. Tom’s experience at Steinwall, coupled with his business education and coaching background, will help drive Steinwall towards Operational Excellence.
Education: MBA with concentrations in Operations Strategy and Human & Organizational Performance, Vanderbilt University; BS Business Management with a Minor in Psychology, Wake Forest University.
Engineering
Experience: Heidi manages the quality team that consists of quality engineers, first article technicians and quality control auditors. She is also in charge of maintaining and continuously improving the quality management system. She has over 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry mainly focusing on quality.
Education: BS Manufacturing Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Stout, Minor: Business Administration
Certification: Manufacturing Technologist through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers ISO 9001:2015 Lead Internal Auditor
Experience: Some of Tyler’s most relevant education that complement his current position:
- Thermodynamics emphasis in complex fluid dynamics and advanced heat transfer case studies.
- Engineering statistical methods including DOE (Design of Experiments), Statistical Process Control and Reliability models.
- Engineering safety with an emphasis in ergonomic optimization and workstation layout.
Education: BS Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities
Experience: Jacob has experience in mechanical design through different internships in college, along with spending time doing computational fluid dynamics research. While at NDSU, Jacob took classes which focused on plastics engineering, plastics manufacturing and composite materials. Jacob has experience working with a wide variety of teams and settings which he uses to his advantage when working with the Steinwall team and with customers.
Education: BS Mechanical Engineering, North Dakota State University
Experience: Max has over 10 years of experience in medical and industrial plastic molding. Max started on the production floor and quickly moved into a supervisory role managing materials. Max has since transitioned from the floor to project engineering which will allow him to grow and gain more knowledge and skills. He is a very hard worker, enjoys learning and improving processes.
Experience: Nicole has over 12 years of experience in the quality field with plastic injection molding. Nicole started in the First Article department at Steinwall and has now taken on the role of Quality Engineering. This will allow her to grow, gain more knowledge and help the Steinwall Team with continuous improvement and build relationships with customers.
Experience: Josh has experience in the plastic compounding industry as well as experience with the injection molding and extrusion manufacturing processes. While at WSU, Josh took classes focused on various thermoset and thermoplastic manufacturing, material testing and characterization, and material selection.
Education: BS Composite Materials Engineering, Winona State University
Experience: Brian has over 25 years of experience in the plastics and injection molding industry with an extensive background in Quality, Estimating and Process Engineering. His experience in a variety of roles make him a true asset to the Engineering team.
Education: Hennepin Technical College
Account Management
Experience: Brittany has previous manufacturing experience in the casting and precision machining industries, providing support to various medical, industrial and aerospace accounts. Her strong background in customer focused roles has allowed her to successfully build and maintain strong relationships, communicate effectively and solve problems efficiently. Brittany is pursuing her degree in Business Administration at Metropolitan State University to advance personally and professionally, and to develop a more robust skill set to better serve her customers.
Experience: Rachel has a diverse background in manufacturing and distribution that has provided her broad experience in customers’ expectations, production and on time service. Rachel is always willing to take on new challenges, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys investigating issues to create sustainable solutions.
Experience: Danielle has many years of experience in the customer service field. She thrives on challenges and embraces them with open arms, knowing that each one presents an opportunity for growth and learning. With every interaction, she strives to provide exceptional service that leaves a lasting impression.
Planning & Procurement
Experience: Working in the manufacturing industry, Alicia has gained experience in customer relations, purchasing, inventory control, EDI and scheduling. This experience along with her degree has allowed her to maintain relationships with her customers, schedule effectively and problem solve. She strives to meet every customer’s expectations, puts in effort daily to help her company achieve their goals as well as her own. Alicia is an active listener, multi-tasker, great communicator and a hard worker. She is a very determined individual and is always willing to take on challenges.
Education: MBA Hamline University, BS Business Management at Rasmussen College
Experience: Tara has previous experience at Steinwall as an Operator, Material Handler, Quality Control Auditor, Quality Operations Supervisor, Assistant Shift Supervisor, and as an Account Manager. This experience allows her to build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with our Vendors, effectively communicate and problem solve. She strives to help the company achieve their goals and is always willing to take on new challenges. She is a very hard worker, a great communicator and an excellent
multi-tasker.
Human Resources
Experience: Taylor started working at Steinwall right out of college in the PIMM Production department. Since then, she has gained a breadth of experience in many departments including IT, AR, Auditing, and Customer Service. Taylor has now taken on the role of managing Steinwall’s training and Knowledge Management systems and is slowly transitioning into the Human Resources Department.
